Guys fuck Marc Gasol! Obviously we should be going after TYSON CHANDLER! He's a can't miss kind of guy! Sure, we may have to out bid Mark Cuban, but it will be TOTALLY WORTH IT!

    (Sarcasm)

More seriously, I don't think Marc Gasol is the answer, we should probably just look for a big man through the draft(s). Most are too expensive (or old) for us right now anyways.

In my opinion, we should give Diop some burn. Before his injury, I believe Silas & Co. had moved him into the starting line-up. Let him play. He had obviously impressed them somewhat, maybe he could provide a decent defensive presence.

(Just looked at his stats, he's never averaged more than 19 minutes a game. Put a fucking gun to my head, I hate this guy so much, how is that possible. Ugh. I still stand by what I said though.)

If we are going to rebuild that means tanking. We don't need to pay top dollar for guys lake Mark Gasol. That will just get us back to the eight spot. Look at he Hawks, they have very good players at most positions but no stars and they don't contend. Go for broke with Howard and CP3, if that doesn't work we need several lottery picks to build a solid team.

If we could get him on the cheap, so be it. Bird in the hand, as they say. However, I definitely don't want to reach for the guy exactly for your reasons.

I didn't say we could. However, I'm a believer in conditionals. For instance, if Deborah Ann Woll, the red head vampire from True Blood, ever shows up at my door and tries to seduce me, my wife will allow it. Always be prepared to accept fortune.
