    Default The Morris Twins

Can someone give me a rundown on the differences in their games.

Also which one has more potential than the other and why.

without just copying and pasting what all the draft profiles say the way i get it is:

Marcus: The better twin with more potential can play 3 and 4. Decent shooter of the ball
Markieff: more of a 4, not far behind, bangs in the paint more.

i could be wrong but i dont just wanna churn out draft.net's profile!

Agreed. Marcus is a tad more of a scorer. Better name. Markieff is a tad taller and maybe a little better rebounder? I usually see Marcus going two spots ahead of his brother.

Marcus is a SF and Markieff is a PF.

Marcus is more versatile with better guard skills and is more of a scorer.
Markieff is a tough, physical banger that does most of his work in the post.

Marcus has the ability to be a solid starter in the league and Markieff will be a third big in the rotation

Marcus - Al Harrington with a slightly better post game.

Markieff - JJ Hickson with range

Love both guys, but don't know which twin i'd want.

I think Hendo is the next MJ. Clearly already a better player than MJ was at this point in his career. Maybe better than SJack. We'll have to see but, this guy looks like 2nd GOAT (behind Allen Iverson) material to me

I said this before: If I could get both for #19 somehow I'd take it haha

Maybe I'm alone, but I am not a fan of the Morris brothers (as draft prospects). I don't see Marcus projecting as a 3, which makes him short for the 4. He's not a great rebounder and combined with his relatively short stature, I'm not sure what he does that will warrant PT. He can knock down a jumper, but is that enough? He's not an explosive athlete and being undersized, will he be able to get his shot off on the block? Even if he gets fouled, he's a mediocre free throw shooter.

As for Markieff, I like him more because of his workman-like approach, but again not an elite rebounder, which makes him passable. If I'm considering taking either at 19, I'd rather go with an undersized power forward thats an elite rebounder and better athlete, like Kenneth Faried.

Pass both at 9 and I'd be hesitant with 19...I like other players better...

I like them both but I like Marcus more. My dad is a big Kansas fan so I have watched alot of these guys. Marcus is definately better imo. I compare these 2 twins to the Lopez twins. One is really good all around and one is more of a defensive guy. Marcus would be the Brook Lopez of the 2 and Markieff would be Robin Lopez.
