hold on a second, 2 million lives lost, #1 FBI most wanted for 10 years, $25,000,000 bounty, 2 wars started, Trillions of dollars wasted, no proof of his death. and he's already burried at the bottom of the ocean? is this real life? what kind of bullshit is this?
They confirmed his identity with fingerprint and DNA testing. I'm sure they also did an autopsy with pictures and all of that to have a record of his identity. We didn't just shoot him in the head and toss him out the back hatch on the c130 ride home.

I read somewhere that one of the reasons that they may have opted to dump him at sea is that they didn't want his burial on land to become a gathering spot for any of his followers.

    Yeah right...buried him at sea.

I imagine right now he's packed with bacon awaiting his new destiny of being a dart board in someone's office in Quantico.

Well it was built, apparently, in 2005 so who knows where the F he was before then, most likely in the mountains, caves contemplating what life would be like, living in plain sight as a normal citizen in a mansion.

I think Hendo is the next MJ. Clearly already a better player than MJ was at this point in his career. Maybe better than SJack. We'll have to see but, this guy looks like 2nd GOAT (behind Allen Iverson) material to me

Wouldn't gathering up his followers be a good idea? Kinda like when the police do an undercover sting inviting wanted criminals to a "superbowl ticket giveaway" and they arrive and get arrested.

i was joking when i first heard that, we should put his head on a pole and his body underneath it in the middle of nowhere afghanistan and park all of the snipers in the last round of cuts in concentric rings starting at 400 yards out for real life target practice.

He was "buried" so quickly because that's how Islam requires the dead to be taken care of. This already pissed off the radical Muslims, so they wanted to avoid any more inflammatory moves. Obama's speech was probably a bad idea in that regard.

what a bunch of bullshit. I kind believe what a joke this government is. Oh and look at this

A senior Pakistani security official said no shots were fired inside the building where bin Laden was found.

"The people inside the house were unarmed. There was no resistance," the official said.
Photographs taken by a Pakistani security official about an hour after the assault show three dead men -- not including bin Laden -- lying in pools of blood. No weapons could be seen in the closely cropped images obtained by Reuters.

the man was a self-proclaimed enemy of the united states actively participating in a war against the country. a war which he started, there is no such thing as "killing in cold blood" or "murdering" him. he was an enemy combatant and was treated as such. even a forward step toward the seal team is justified as grounds to kill.

it continues to amaze me how an administration who ran a genius campaign through selling a brand and good PR can continuously have such terrible PR responses throughout a short presidency. come up with an official story that everyone in the administration sticks to. keep the details to a minimum to protect mission integrity and security.

of course the other approach to it would be to tell the press and the world, yeah that's how we did it and you will never have to worry about it happening to you unless you think it is wise to attack the USA. i swear between political correctness and general apathy we have gotten so soft as a country.

and that last thing about the pakistani's not finding any weapons, did it not occur to them that maybe the seal team took them or through them in the helicopter before blowing it up?
