FROM SAM AMICO ON TWITTER: Pacers are ones making seriously play for No. 2. Granger is being mentioned. So are Rubio and Beasley. Again, more later on FOX.

The rumor is:

Pacers Get- #2, Rubio, Beasley
Timberwolves Get- Danny Granger, probably a filler

Is Kahn mentally challenged? that's the wolves future being traded away!

Also, what could we package together if all they want for the whole team is Granger?

I had thought it was Granger and #15 for #2 and either Beasley or Rubio, but not both. So many stories coming out, you can't know what is true. A lot of smokescreens will goupover the next month.

considering this is the first big rumor with related players being traded, i'll let it pass as just a rumor. too much time between now and the draft for this to hold any water. i wonder if it's media/fan speculation that leaked a la twitter or a message board, or if it has any true legs from either front office. if it's the latter, then at least we have an idea of what we would have to give up to get to that #2 spot. as interesting as leonard, burks, hamilton, singleton are as role players, i really think we need to swing for the fences and move up to #2 or #3, or trade for a young vet. Boom or bust MJ!!

Kahn has had a hard-on for Granger for awhile now. Wouldn't surprise me if this was Indy leaking their terms if they were to trade him.
