Who's that? Is he a friend of Dominic McGuire?
I have no idea why I am suggesting such a thing, feelings of unfinished business maybe. Does any think we should give him one final chance? Minimum contract of course.

Haha yeah I think they used to play Korfball together.
I miss Adam......

Is he playing at all, anywhere? You can buy a lot of weed with a rookie deal in the NBA, especially up near the Canadian border. Just sayin.
I myself don't miss Adam but not for the reasons many might think. Adam in my opinion could have been a pretty good NBA player, "no Lary Bird clone," but still a guy that could have been an All Star a few times in a ten or more season career. He had the skill set but his mental health was questionable and that is why he no longer plays in the NBA. I am sure many of you will come on here and run him down and say he sucks and for what he has accomplished you would be right. However for those of you who say he never could have been anything but a deep bench guy in the NBA I will respectfully disagree. He could have visited a SPORTS PSYCHOLOGIST, which has helped many an athlete in the past. Adam also could have received good advice from other players who have overcome rough beginnings to their careers but overcame the struggles.
I will let you all discuss how much Ammo sucks and always would have sucked no matter what but myself I know that Adam did not have basketball enough in his heart and had it been different he could have had a pretty good career. That said it is a shame he got paid more than he should have.
Love this, excellent summation tex. Adam didn't have it in his heart. The biggest let down in his life if you ask him now, I'd guess is losing that game where he cried in the NCAA Tournament. If it were you or me, it'd be falling out of the NBA. He just didn't understand or want to understand. He didn't have the teammates to help him along here and by the time he hit LA it didn't matter. I mean the knee, it just was a physical symptom of his inward feelings and uncertainties. Could you imagine being a rookie, white kid, lots of pressure, great white hope all that, you come to a city that's still looking at the NBA like "What is this and what should we do with it" and Bernie Bickerstaff is your coach, knowing his fate and knowing he's going to be gone in a year, then it's Sam Vincent....I mean what the hell. I wouldn't be able to deal with that and I'm far less socially awkward than young Adam.
Agree with Tex, he may not have been the star we were looking for, but the guy had the potential to be a nice scorer. Having the mental toughness of Eeyore really ruined him and it's too bad. Don't miss him, miss what he could've been.
Oh well.
I wouldn't mind giving him a contract, see if he could pull a Kwame'eske turnaround. Its worth a shot especially if were bottom feeders next year.
