Agreed. Only Irving, Williams and Kanter are worth combining picks to move into Top 3. Think we have to pick #9. Now, I can see packaging #19 and #39 or even a player with that to move up into the late lottery for another pick.
Seems Paul wants #9 and #19 unless we can move them for a "star" player...

#19 and #39...not sure what they'd bring but I'd be willing...
Utah #3 and #12 but (obviously) they have two numbers 1s but no second...
Toronto at #5 seems to be the highest team without a second round pick and only one first......I'm not sure #19 and #39 get #5 or even close...but would you package DJ with those two for the #5...?
addition:...and I doubt Raptors would deal with us after last seasons fiasco non-trade...

That sounds EXACTLY like Bernie back in 2005. He thought Paul and Deron were better...but didn't see a lot of separation overall between the 3.
Silas was asked how hands-on Jordan is, in addressing draft decisions. "Rod (Higgins, the general manager) and I will make the final decisions, I think, but he certainly has input," Silas said of Jordan. "If we come up with somebody he doesn’t necessarily care for, he lets us know. But the (final) decision will be ours."
Did Silas even know Crash was being dealt before the day it happened?
He's either delusional or in denial. There is NO WAY Jordan won't be heavily involved, and that pick will be his. He deferred to LB one time and I doubt he will defer again...and esp. to a coach like Silas.

spectre...I agree that MJ makes the call but I expect he'll take input from all concerned...but a tie will go to the boss...I just hope he makes a solid pick...

Suns at #13 do not have a second either...#19 and #39 might get #13...and it might be worth moving up the six spots...

I forgot...make that 2 times. Bernie pushed for Ammo while MJ was thinking Roy.
Yup, he will take opinions. Honestly tho I'm more than willing to let MJ make the pick. IMO he's been more right than wrong in that regard. My issue with him is his trades.
I still think and hope they'll look to move up into the 4th-7th spots. Quality trumps quantity almost every time.

LOL...depends on the quantity (as in who it is) but in general I agree...but it does drive me back to this...Lopez (and we know the reason) dropped to us and we did not take him...I'm not convinced that one of the guys we're "keen" on will not drop...but it is a crap shoot any way (outside of Williams and Irving) you look at it...and even those two have detractors...
