I just don't see MJ letting Kemba go with the star power, pedigree, killer instinct, etc. Yes, he and DJ are similar but, as it has been said Kemba has "it." If he drops to 9, which I still don't see happening, I'm almost sure we'll take him and trade DJ for a big.
Brian T. Smith of The Salt Lake Tribune: "Five weeks ago, it was Kentucky’s Brandon Knight versus Connecticut’s Kemba Walker for the right to be named the second-best point guard in the 2011 NBA Draft. Now, Knight clearly holds the advantage, while Walker’s stock is reportedly falling. Instead the 19-year-old Knight is competing against former Wildcats teammate Enes Kanter as the Jazz’s window narrows for selecting at No. 3 overall. Knight made his ascension clear last Thursday after running through a solo workout with Utah. As soon as he finished the session, a highly confident Knight said that the only player he would compete against before selection day was Duke’s Kyrie Irving — an equally skilled point guard long expected to be chosen No. 1 overall by Cleveland. Factor in that Knight’s bold statement followed a workout between Walker and Brigham Young’s Jimmer Fredette that several witnesses assert the latter clearly won, and there is little doubt that if the Jazz go small at No. 3, Knight is the one."

Aran Smith: We hear the Jazz will take Enes Kanter 3rd and Cleveland will take Jonas Valanciunas 4th. Knight goes 5th and Kemba could be the odd man out 2 minutes ago

Aran Smith: If Kemba slips past 7, which it looks like he will, he can easily slide out of lottery and into teens 2 minutes ago

If that happens..we could do the Houston swap #9 for their two picks, use #14 to selected Kemba and trade him to Portland for Nicolas Batum and maybe their #21. We'd still have the 2nd Houston pick and our #19 and we could get a Center with one of those and flip the other for a 2012 1st round pick (to a playoff team).
So Kawhi, Kemba, Biyombo, Morris should all be on the board plus more......I still want Kawhi above anyone within our reach really, Biyombo would be second. Then Kemba+Morris are tied somewhere below Kawhi+Bismack

If our choice is Nico Batum +#21 and we haven't drafted a replacement for GW, and we still have DJ and Liv at PG and Kemba has dropped to #13...why would we keep Kemba. His stock is dropping for a reason (not sure what it is, but I'd take a proven NBA rotation player over a ESPN March Madness highlight blurb everytime).
