Leonard at 9...hope that Bismack's injuries cause him to drop to 19. I'd be happy with that.

We are no where near good enough to draft thinking about needs and next summer. We draft the best player and see where it goes from there. I'm just gonna put this out there. If you asked any NBA analyst could the bobcats ever win a ring with DJ at the point 99% would say no because they would realise that he cannot defend those D Rose, Westbrooks,Walls, Rondos.

NO DJ ISNT ANYWHERE GOOD ENOUGH. I just said in my last post, I dont think Kemba is a big enough of an upgrade over DJ to justify taking him at 9. We have other needs that should be addressed because there could be better players available at positions we actually need. The heck do we need another PG for that has the same skill set as the one we already have? One of them would have to go.
Im not saying Kemba wont end up being really good, but right now he is pretty much the same as DJ with a different mentality. Hopefully if we draft him, he can develop into a HoF'er, but I just dont know if he's the best fit RIGHT NOW. If we can move DJ for a big man, it's a different story.

Kemba Walker is excited to be playing for Charlotte. Even before he was drafted, he even loved working out here.

Didn't Kemba say Jordan had called him to let him know we were taking him? Wasn't he in the Green Room during the draft?

When did Jordan call him? Did we go in planning on drafting Kemba at 9th? Was Kemba wearing orange socks? His suit was a nice blue...very similar to our colors.

    If so...very interesting.

Per Cranston my above was incorrect.

Via Bleacher Report (yeah, I know) there's actually a good article...a semblence of an interview in slide show form. This part stood out to me:
Kemba never missed a game in his three-year career at UConn and graduated one year early with a B.A. in sociology. That might not translate to skills on the court, but it does say something—he is willing to put in work.

Doubtful, but it was as loud as a late 4th quarter rally in there. The place was bonkers.
