I'm on board with the Cho hire, and no one love Biyombo more than this guy right here.
but I find it freaking hilarious the kind of whole sale, sea change in attitude towards our front office. Confidence is a funny thing, and even though Cho has only been a GM for one year of his life, the entire fan base in now seemingly in his pants.
Don't get me wrong, I love it. I want the fan base to be on board with organization (im usually the only one i know who is ok with whatever they end up doing it seems). I just wonder... If MJ and Rod had made this Jackson trade and got Biyombo, would the fan base have so widely praised it. I really don't think so.
Cause in my opinion, the Jackson and Wallace trades are essentially the same move. One is greeted with hate and claims of being suckers, while the other is labeled as genius. just funny.. thats all.
Into the crevasse!
"Climb down Lemon, Climb down"
Because they were essentially the same move is just more proof the 1st trade sucked. Hell, it even appears we came close to not even restricting the one player we got that wasn't an expiring!
So you support everything they do? What is that...some sort of wannabe FOM complex?
Now THAT'S funny!

That same year, Jax scored a point for the MVP race.
What a good year.
I like Biyombo's energy and willingness to go after the ball. Something our starting PF has never done. I like the idea of Tyrus and Biyombo rotating in and out protecting the paint. It would be nice if one of them learn a post up move or two. I like Biyombo because he used to live in a straw hut and fight lions with his bare hands and now he's in the NBA. I love America!!
