Default The Fantasy Football advice thread

In one of my leagues that is drafting in the next couple of days, I plan to take with the #2 pick the best RB from this group.

    Arian Foster
    Adrian Peterson
    Jamal Charles
    Ray Rice
    or someone else

    Who do you guys recommend?

Do you get points per reception?

If not, I'd got Peterson, Charles, Foster, Rice.

If it is PPR, I'd consider Foster first, but probably still go Peterson first. Ray Rice or LeSean McCoy might be in the conversation.

No matter how you pick, you're going to get a great player. I'd focus more on what you're doing after round three.

This league is non-ppr. I have a feeling AP is going #1, if that's the case I'm torn between Charles and Rice at #2. Foster's hamstring concerns me.

In the 2nd round I have my eye on what ever top tier WR I can get my hands on late in that round, Maybe a vincent Jackson or Desean Jackson.

My draft is tomorrow, so we'll see how it goes.

If it's not PPR, I'd probably go Chris Johnson, actually. His stock was low because of the signing. However, he could easily return to being the best back, especially if the passing game opens up. I'd go AP, CJ, JC, AF, and then RR.

Nobody in the league is better at the long break away run than Chris, and that can mean pretty significant bonuses.

It's non-ppr so I will definitely keep CJ in mind. If #1 passes on Adrian Peterson then that would make things so much simpler for me.

The dude with the #1 pick passed on AP. when that happened, I did a little dance, then pounced.
