    Default Impact NBA fantasy rookies

I know, I know... The Mayan calender will be ending before we see any of these NBA rookies on the court, BUT when that DOES happen, which rookie do you think will have the biggest statistical season?

I'm thinking that it may be Enes Kantar. He seems to be NBA ready and is in a good place where he should get solid minutes right off the bat.

Kyrie Irving, Derrick Williams and of course our own Kemba are other candidates to put up solid rookie numbers, but who do you think will be the impact rookie?

It'll be the ones that get the most minutes, but it's difficult to say which, though.

I expect Kyrie Irving and Tristan Thompson to get their share of minutes for the Cavs
Kemba and Biyombo (if he can stay out of foul trouble) will get pretty solid minutes as well

It's hard to say for guys like DWill and Kanter because they're going to compete with Beasley and Jefferson/Millsap for minutes

I have the second pick out of the rookie pool in an upcoming fantasy basketball draft. I'm hoping that Kyrie Irving gets picked first because my team is already loaded with point guards.

Since my initial post, I heard that Kanter looked bad at a couple of pickup games, so I'm not as high on him as I was earlier. I think Kemba will put up numbers, but that brings me back to my glut of point guards.

    What about Jan Vesely?

How about Toronto big man Jonas Valencinus? He got some hype over the summer in a few European games that he played in.

I may have to go with Derrick Williams or Tristan Thompson and just sit and wait for a while until they begin to produce.

Jonas won't be in the league this year. DWill or Tristan might be your safest bets. Biyombo could be a good 2 category pick if a) he comes over and b) he gets PT

Is this some sort of keeper league? Maybe you should pick the guy who you think will be the best in 2 or 3 years as opposed to right at this moment. Like a real General Manager (aka not Rod Higgins). Jonas or Williams might be good choices if you can wait, although there might be a few snickers when you do it.

This may be a really stupid suggestion, I'm not sure.

It is a keeper league, so drafting a player with thoughts on what they may develop into is certainly something that I have to think about.
