Sounds like both of them were very promising.
Not so happy with Kemba's 4 assists, was hoping he would be looking to pass more.
But then I didn't watch the game, only looking at the box score, so feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

i wouldn't take anything for anyone's performance. it is the equivalent of a pre-draft scrimmage. both players should do well because they were high picks. also, nobody is really trying, so how hard is it to get a bunch of rebounds and score some points. yes, it is nice to see them play, but their pro potentials are just as unknown now as they were 3 days ago.

Yeah no kidding Chef, but at least it's good to see that they have an impact, better than if they didn't impact at all. Heard Biyombo did the dream shake too.

Lil' late to the party, but I really liked what I saw out of Smack. The kid's only 18 right?

    Wow.

He's already got the knowledge of how to get deep into the paint. On D I saw him using his long arms on the perimeter, giving him an extra amount of space with which he (presumably) can gain slightly more reaction time if his guy decides to take it to the hole.

Just imagine him with some quality time under a big man coach.

Kemba was what I expected. He was playing an exhibition game and you could tell he's been doing it a lot...he was there to help put on a show.

TC the assists mean nothing because of that IMO.

The thing most important is he "belonged". He was a presence and he garnered respect. Kemba is going to be the focal point and everyone is going to benefit from it.

BYU has now archived the game and it's up for anyone who missed it. I think you still have to register, but again it's just name/address/email.

Look at him flat out working Jimmer off the dribble. I don't think he's going to have any issue getting into the lane for buckets and dump offs to the bigs for dunks. He's definitely going to make the crowd go, "OOOHHHHH" a couple of times every night.

Doesn't really show a lot of Bismack, but I expect him to be a block machine whenever he gets a chance to play. You can tell he has a supreme quickness both mentally and physically on the defensive end.

Looking at that last one, you can see a bit of badass attitude that I'd really love to see from him. I'd love for him to have a signature swat response like Deke's finger wag. Also, it seems like him and Kemba are pretty good friends already which is great to see
