Default News on another former Bobcat

Sean May will play for Croatian team KK Zagreb for the next season. He was in Turkey last season and won the league championship with Fenerbahçe Ülker.

He might play against Adam Morrison's Crvena Zvezda in Adriatic League.

How did May personally do out there Tamb? Did he put up some good numbers, or was he just an average guy in the league? Also, how good is his new team in relation to his old Turkish club and Ammo's team?

May put average numbers during his tenure in Turkey. This always happens to the players who come to Europe for the first time. New country, new culture, new food etc. However he had got better as the season went on, and put up very decent numbers in the final series of TBL. In Euroleague, he was below the expectations as well as his club.

Here are his stats in Turkey: http://www.tblstat.net/pd.asp?p=1925&s=1011
    And stats in Euroleague: http://www.euroleague.net/competitio...asoncode=E2010

Among the three teams to compare, Turkish champion is certainly the best one. They play in Euroleague each season and won Turkish championship 4 times in last 5 years I suppose. Also they aim the Final Four in last few years and set up a great roster in last couple of years.

Ammo's team Crvena Zvezda (Red Star Belgrade) has a great history, but I believe they are now one step behind their archrivals, Partizan. They are not in Euroleague.

May's new team, KK Zagreb was always behind Cibona Zagreb for the last -maybe- 20 years, but they are the last champions of Croatia and will be in Euroleague this season. They are an up and coming team. I think bing can bring a much better comparison for Zagreb and Belgrade teams.

    So I can say F. Ülker>>KK Zagreb>Crvena Zvezda.
