Man, did he ever go off on LeBron. Sounded like he's been letting it build up for a while and it finally blew. And you know it had to kill him inside to have to start to concede that Skip was right - about anything.

I can't stand Stephen A, but there was a ton of truth in his rant.

If you have the guts to crown yourself as "The Chosen One" and "King James", you better put rings on your fingers and bring titles to your town. Otherwise, your just a loudmouth who couldn't back it up. But once he decided he couldn't do it without Wade and Bosh, he gave up on being anywhere in the same air as MJ or Kobe. He's done more disappearing acts in the 4th qtr of playoff games than MJ and Kobe did - combined.

I agree that he has put a lot of pressure on himself, with the whole chosen one shtick, but I don't think teaming up with Wade diminishes his legacy.

    - Jordan had Hall of Famer Pippen and Hall of Famer/greatest rebounder of the modern era/ multi-time defensive player of the year in Dennis Rodman
    - Magic had hall of famers Worthy, Kareem and several all-stars like Byron Scott and Michael Cooper
    - Bird just about had an entire HOF starting lineup with McHale, Parrish, Dennis Johnson and Ainge

None of those guys did it on their own.. Not even MJ.

yeah but none of those guys decided to become the sidekick to another top 5 player. lebron showed that he would rather be 1b as opposed to the man.

Wade is phenomenal, but as good as he is, he would be Robin to Lebron's Batman.

I don't think that he decided to become a sidekick, I believe that he chose to become a part of a team that has multiple stars like those that MJ, Magic and Bird enjoyed.

if you watched closely during the playoffs and finals, lebron defered to wade when the possessions were important. not only that, you could see wade "trying to do too much" because he knows lebron couldn't handle the pressure when the game is on the line. lebron is a better basketball player but that is the difference between him and wade.
