Default Baron Davis to the Bobcats?

Shift DJ, get Davis on the cheap? Thoughts?

I'll pass on Baron, I prefer my point guards under 300 pounds.

I'll bring him back to finish up his career. If Kemba ends up anything like Charlotte Baron then I'll go crazy.

I know he played for the Hornets but I find it really weird he wants to play in Charlotte. I would pass on him, trade DJ for a pick or decent SF.

Nice that Baron thinks like that but I doubt if he'll be amnestied. Pretty sure he has a mostly unguaranteed contract his last year and Cleveland will most likely want to try and parlay that into something decent to someone needing to get below the cap.

Lot's of people going overboard with this idea. Why would most teams want to pay players their full contract just to go away? Teams in jeopardy of paying a heavy fine in taxes due to a new CBA...but we won't be one of them.

As long as I've been a BD fan and as much as I like him, I don't see him being a good fit with what's going on here. The fanboy in me would like for him to come back home, however. I still have to thank him for the beard tip he gave me before a game 2 seasons ago anyway.

I think an in shape and motivated Baron who was showing signs of his vintage self would be a great fit for our team but since he has not resembled anything close to that in the last several years I have a hard time wanting him to be on our team. I really don't think any other team wants the baggage of an unmotivated and under performing Baron Davis.

I will happily sign Baron as long as he was on his best behaviour & understood his role.

He could be great for Kemba & if we signed him we can move DJ along.

i know chris paul would be ideal. Baron wouldn't neccessarly be a great addition. But it would surely bring some old charlotte hornet fans back to games if there is a classic hornets player back on the roster.

BD and Paul Silas are pretty close. Davis had his best years playing for him so it makes sense to me.
