I've watched the first two episodes and have been disappointed by both. Talk about drawing out a show. If anyone follows @CarboardGerald on twitter his "analysis" of each episode is hysterical.
How are you guys finding the newest season? I enjoyed the first episode with the whole 'zombies coming' although it was rather stupid that the old dude (name slips my mind at this moment) has binoculars, and doesn't see them until much later when they're already there.
Hunt for the little girl, epicly boring.
Well scene? Absolutely stupid considering I wouldn't drink that water with that walker bathing in it
Glen and Maggie? Doing it in a pharmacy which is completely unsafe and potential zombies outside? Stupidity
I must say Season 2 has really dropped. Don't buy the whole Daryl heart-of-gold badass character at the moment, preferred his Boondock Saint redneck'ed style of character.

although slow, i still like the show. they do a good job of building suspense. i find myself always wondering if this is the scene someone is going to get it. i think the writers are trying to establish characters. i am not sure if it is working or not, but they have to try to make the show work. the tough part is, it is very real life in an all out disaster plot. where would you go? would you just try to hunker down? the problem is, it doesn't make for great tv because it is basically plotless. i think there has to be the emergence of some sort of destination to the give the show direction. maybe they catch a random radio signal with someone on the other end in memphis or colorado or something saying there is a strong hold where they are working on a solution or something like that.
I like it so far. No where near as much action as season 1, but they have way more than 5 episodes so they have to spread it out some. Anybody stay on AMC afterwards at watch Hell on Wheels?
I personally think it's pretty cool. The premise is pretty common, but the delivery is nice. I always like shows and movies that deal with war, guns, and violence though so I'm an easy target![]()
Episode 5 finally got somewhere. Daryl took an arrow to the side, rips it out and shoots a zombie with it, then limps his ass all the way back. Badass.
Also finally got somewhere with the barn, with Glen discovering zombies!!!
I haven't read the comics, so I'm keen to see where they take it.

So is TWD getting better? Can I dare to watch the episodes I've missed?

Most recent episode is certainly a lot better than 2-4, I liked no.1 with the car scene.
Plus moar Norman Reedus.
