Scott Fowler wrote a column that somewhat mirrors how I feel right now.

This is ridiculous. Everyone basically being buttholes. period. I can't really say much more about my disgust right now. Don't follow College BBall as strongly but its a good time to start.
usually I don't watch until the March Madness, but i'm like a crack head for basketball, idk if a bad dose is better than no dose
I've never understood the quality argument against college ball. Just sounds like one of those generalized excuses to not like something.
They actually play defense, pass the ball, have fans that get into the game, and generally act like they care about the game. Quality is much better
I had great dreams of grandeur this season.
1. Would of watched Hendo/Walker backcourt, and watched as they both became a force to be reckoned with
2. Promotion to Mod (A guy can dream can't he)
3. Watch the Bobcats get slaughtered, get an epicly high draft pick and cheer as we pick Harrison Barnes, turning it into Walker/Hendo/Barnes/TT/INSERTCENTERHERE
4. Watch as Bobcats develop into an exciting young prospect (ala Thunder) and start competing for championships.

they can't shoot, can't make easy shots, turn the ball over, make terrible passes, have a shot clock that lasts forever allowing too many purposeful-less passes and dribbles and overall just sloppy basketball prevails. you will however, get no argument from me that the atmosphere is miles better than the pro game.
Then you must be watching the likes of East Tennessee State and Southwestern Iowa. Harrison Barnes is a great shooter, Kendall Marshall is the best passer in college, and the heels run like the Suns do!
As far as the quality of play argument I would say it has merit for the first month and a half of the season but as the season advances that changes quite a bit. By March madness the quality of play is way better imo.
What doesn't help is that with so many Diaper Dandy's coming into the NCAA the inexperience of a great deal of the players shows it's ugly head early. That is just my opinion. If the NBA goes the rout of forcing players to stay in college til age 20 you will see an improvement in game play also imo. Just think if many of our one and done players or even for what it's worth the two and done players played through at least their junior year of college. The play in my way of thinking would no doubt be better. Hell even just having the one and done players being forced to play their sophomore seasons we would have a much better product. Still for me by January the college game is more than good enough for me to watch whole games and not tune out half way though.
I guess I'm just a college nut? Since (and including) the Carrier Classic, I've probably watched 10 full games on tv and ESPN3
