    Default Bobcats Starting Center

    Courtesy of Coach Silas.

Interviewer: If the regular season started tonight, would Boris be the starting center?
    CS: Yep. Yep.

Looks like We'll have a starting lineup of:
    DJ/Kemba
    Hendo
    Maggette
    TT
    Diaw

Interesting that he doesn't have much faith in Diop, then again who does
Then again, Silas has said Gana isn't in the best shape atm. Perhaps will start by proper season start.

Edit: Even more details. Gana has admitted to being 25 pounds overweight. I got no clue how much that is in KGs, but shouldn't be too hard from all apparent reports of Gana running his ass off in training.

Honestly at this point it is what it is.
If anything this year down low Id love to see Tyrus progress some more, I dont know why but I feel he could be a big asset here now and in the future. Blind faith maybe.
Id like to see us use Biyombo a good bit once he signs. I mean he will get worked this year but if we expect anything out of him in the long run it would be favorable.

Answer: 25 lb = 11.3398 kg (Converters ftw!!)
Doesn't surprise me one bit. Diop has no bisusnes being in the discussion to start on a high school team let alone a NBA team.

    11 kilos?
    That can't be right...
    Just checked on google...HOLY CRAP.
Diop is seriously got some problems with weight.

Big Baby is what, 315 pounds? 142.8 kilos.
How is it even possible to get that fat playing such a high intensity sport...

To be fair to Diop, he tore his Achilles and it's very hard to keep weight off when you can't do cardio for a long time.

To be fair to us, the 'Cats need to sign a few centers so the Diaw at center thing is more a trial than the norm.

Diop is out of shape, on his way back from injury thats why Boris is starting. Watcing a small lineup will be fun anyway, Boris pulling their centre out to the 3 point line will be useful
    Michael Kidd-Gilchrist
Kema Walker The Core, The Future...
    Bizmack Biyombo
    Jeffrey Taylor

bullshit. you can start to use your foot/ankle after 4-6 weeks. at which point a PROFESSIONAL ATHLETE should have the desire and discipline to swim, stationary bike, modify diet whatever it takes to speed recovery and stay in condition. there is no excuse for this. rec league basketball players do it all the time, this guy makes 7 million dollars to play at the same level as us.

except for boris is fat, out of shape and not intense on the court. all the things you need to have a successful small ball lineup. we are screwed.

Diop just reminds me of Larry Brown. I just want to put them both in the rear view mirror and forget about either of them ever being here. That may just be me, but that is how I feel.
