if you were LA would you offer bynum and gasol to get howard. to me it is a no brainer. get howard and worry about the details of the team around him later.
read the laker fan comments, they seem torn. i watched the clips/laker game last night and the lakers are not very good at all. kobe has to work awfully hard to score now that his legs are gone.
i could definitely see kobe restructuring his deal to get more cap space to get a ring. even with the divorce, i could see kobe possibly taking less money to get another ring or two. i think he would die broke if it meant he had more rings than jordan and was the nba all time leading scorer.

they looked old yes, but 2 of their 3 best players are heavily involved in trade rumors and pau was actually traded. and they are learning a new system.
around the league, i think bynum and gasol carry far better trade value than lopez if you are looking to rebuild. if not gasol and bynum make you better now.
