Default How far could Brittney Griner go competing against men?

    NCAA Division I?

    European League?

    D-League?

    NBA 12 man roster?

    What do you guys think?

    She wouldn't last in D1 men's ball

Is it a lack of speed/strength?

At 6'8, she'd be a 3-4 tweener. No way she'd hang with the speed of D1 3's and she doesn't have the size or athleticism for the 4.

She's crazy impressive for a lady basketball player, but her game wouldn't transfer.

I'm pretty sure she could beat me 100-0, even without make-it-take-it.
    SOMEONE will pay for THIS!

One thing that stuck out to me though is that she has an 88" wingspan... For comparison Biyombo's is 94 (correct me if I'm wrong) and his is supposedly off the charts.
From simply a measurable standpoint it's interesting. I would love to know her vertical leap and have some kind of speed comparison between her and the typical DI SF.

Let me be the first to say she sounds like a man and her coach looks like she used to smoke meth. That coach looks like someone off of homemade 70's porn
As long as NC has a team, I'm going to cheer for it

i hate this question in all its forms.

this tells you the state of women's basketball: you know who D1 women scrimmage against in practice right?
random guys from the school. that is how bad they are compared to men.

i wouldn't be afraid to play against her and i am 6'3" and can't dunk. i guarantee you she wouldn't catch ball within 8 feet of the rim let alone dunk on me. i am sure if i wasn't careful she would block the shit out of me, but that is fine. i still wouldn't be scared to play against her.

she is a beast and phenom in women's hoops but don't try to compare them with men. she would have alot of trouble in div3 men's basketball.

To throw a little more gas on the fire, I just spoke with a friend and former college baller (small school).

He told me that he is certain that she could easily play against division I men
