Not arguing any of that, but the very best learning experience would be in game right? 3-5 minutes in the 3rd, couple in the 4th would only have helped in his overall development...and ultimately ours.

The RoF guy is right, but that's pretty common of all rooks...adjusting to the NBA's pace. Kemba's trying to adjust and he came off a pretty big stage. The only way to get adjusted is to get PT.

Guess Silas felt there best option was to play the players who were hot, especially after they came back. He probably could have gotten a few minutes in the 3rd but once the 4th quarter hit it was about winning the game. He needs to play, but we've got 65 more to go. He'll get in there.

Good fun and good atmosphere last night. Whether it's the holiday spirit, home/season opener, or the potential of something special over the horizon, I was impressed with the buzz in the crowd. After the malaise of last season it was a welcome relief and was just a whole lot of fun.

Not sure why it took Paul so long to get Kemba out there with DJ when Skiles had Udrih and Jennings both out there. It seemed an ideal time to try them in tandem...but thankfully he got it and they combined for the game winning points.

Great showing from Mullens. The Paul Silas magic is already at work with him. I was more impressed by the confidence to take the shots than by the fact they were dropping. Once again, thank you GSW for taking Kwame!

Jr. really is looking like the 2 of the future here....if he keeps if up, I'll be the first in line to admit I was very very wrong about him.

Jack: I can't thank you enough for the show you put on. If I didn't know any better I'd swear it was Game 4 against the Magic back in '10 playoffs. Just......thank you. I needed that to finally put a lid on your tenure here.

Biz: Larry Sanders I know you're raw, son, but yowza; no way you should get thrown down on by Larry Sanders.

Otherwise, just a fun night, win or lose, but it was great to get a win and be over .500 for the first time since April '10. I'll enjoy it while it lasts.

Lets be honest, Diaw was on track to get a triple double and Diop was effectively shutting down Bogut... did you want Smack to come in and play the 3?

I want the coach and the team to look at the bigger picture. Is it more important for an expiring Boris to get a triple double or Smack to get acclimated to the game?

Gana played almost 9 minutes in the 3rd quarter and we didn't really start cutting into their lead til near the end of his stretch. I don't think it would have wrecked the franchise if Smack had taken a few of those minutes.

Mullens played almost all of the 4th quarter. I did like what I saw from him...but again would it have been that big of a deal to give a couple of those minutes to Smack?
