This thread is for those members that might be falling off the tanktastic bandwagon. In here, the members that are firmly on the tanking bandwagon will remind the others to keep their eyes on the prize and not to be suckered into gaining a few wins here and there that will do nothing but screw us up at draft time.

I had to try and explain to my wife all this right when OT started...she never got it. "You tied it up!...is that good or Bad?" - Good! "So you want to win?" - No, we need to lose. "So you're pulling for them to lose?" - Of course not...I could never do that.

Great game. I saw a LOT of good things...DJ playing out of his mind offensively, Sick Kemba plays as well as some awesome defense, DJ White standing up to Smith, Tyrus with some good D...and we're still on track to get a possible franchise guy next spring.

Screw tanking. I want the #1 pick and great players but I don't cheer to lose. I'm still cheering for the team to make the Playoffs to be honest....can't do it any other way.

Amen to that, If we make the playoffs I'm happy. If we get a GOOD lottery pick 1-6 I'm happy.

My dream of this offseason would be to secure a top 5 pick with ours, and find a way to turn DJ+Boris into another lottery pick. If our lineup next season was

Hendo/Williams
Kidd-Gilchrist/Tyrus/Maggette
White/Biyombo/Tyrus
Drummond or Davis/Mullens

I'd jizz in my pants and buy season tickets. Even though I don't live in Charlotte during the season. lol

Its a win win for us this year. If the Bobcats win they win and that is awesome, and if they lose they get closer to a top 3 draft pick and that is awesome.

If you ever want this team to become a championship contender you absolutely should be on board with tanking. There is finally a master plan in place, and although the front office would never admit it, tanking is an integral part of it. A top 3 pick, a solid young core, and 20 mil in cap space looks very promising. All I want to see this season is for the young players to grow and get better individually. Every win is one less ping pong ball...I say, tank all the way to the bank!
