    Default Dear God...

We have been blown out by the Nets, Pistons, Knicks, and Wizards. I have been a fan of this team since the day it was conceived by Bob Johnson and an empty bag (that he was planning on filling with money) in a dimly lit room. I've seen some stuff. We all have. But this....this is by far the lowest point in the Bobcats existence.

And I've got news for yall that believe in the "blow it up" madness MJ was preaching since we let Ray walk and traded Tyson: it isnt working. Kemba Walker isnt a superstar in the making. Byron Mullens has shown his true colors by responding to Silas's "soft" comment with a 0 rebound game. Bismark showed some signs of being good, but until he learns how to stop flailing his vine-like arms around and play some real defense he wont be much of a threat. They will wreck DJ's career by rushing him back from this toe injury. Tyrus is still at least a year away from getting back to where he was before the injury. If I had to put money on it I'd say that management will rush Reggie Williams back and set him back from fully healing too. Why is Rod Higgins son on the team?? Matt Carroll sure is making that Chandler trade look lopsided hahaha. Diop sucks but at least he is TRYING, I say give him 100 shots and see what happens; it's not like we are gonna win anyway. And lastly, Boris Diaw needs to be read the riot act then shot in the head: what the fuck are we paying him for?

Its progress, if you want to get that first pick, you have to put in the work.

We have sure looked bad without the DJs. As painful as this is though it is pretty much what we need to happen. Team with the worst record gets no worse then the third pick.

There really is no future here, . Nothing but Hendo's progress looks promising.

Kemba and Bismack can be good players. We need some time to see.

While a top draft pick would be nice, this team has almost zero talent. Even a #1 pick doesn't make this team a playoff team. I really don't see any direction with this team. "Building through the draft" is a crock. This team has been building through the draft since it's inception and it has got them no where.

Kemba and Bismack have the potential to be at least decent. Henderson is already decent and has the potential to be even better. If those 3 guys work out and we draft the right guy this year then maybe we start to turn the corner and at least lose competitively next season. The rest of the roster needs to be traded or allowed to leave when their contracts expire. I would rather spend some money bringing in a guy I don't already know for a fact sucks than to overpay for our guys that I already know for a fact suck to stay. I would also prefer we quit taking on every bad contract in the league which was our specialty over the last few years, for what reason I have no idea.

I honestly don't care if we win much this year. I was prepared for that, but not even being competitive playing the other dregs of the league is disappointing. Especially when our young guys, who we all hope will comprise the future of this team, suck as much as the guys we already know we don't want to keep around.

Pretty much everyone on this board has the right mentality of 'watch the game and don't comment on stats'
However from purely a 'statistical' POV looks like TT is getting back into his game (13/9/9 BLOCKS O.o)
Diop played about 11 minutes too much and Mullens is really disappointing with 0 rebounds in 18 mins, esp. for a player of his athletic ability.
Again from a 'statistical' POV how about Smack? 23 mins, 7 rebounds and 4 blocks. Any points he gets is a bonus.
Kemba shooting around 20% from the field this game, a lot of chucking going on. (Although I will give him the benefit of the doubt, having no Hendo means no consistent scoring option and thus Kemba had to carry).

Note: I didn't watch because I woke up late, turned on stream, saw Diop and promptly turned it off.
