New Orleans has put Chris Kaman on the block. Should we have any interest in him?

Problem is that NO's trade demands will be difficult. They are trying to shed as much future payroll as possible to make the team more attractive to a buyer. I'm sure they would like some of our young assets like both DJs & Mullens but they are not going to give away draft picks (both 1st round picks right now look to be in the lottery) nor take on any of our veteran contracts going beyond this year so trying to throw in Diop, TT, Maggette or Carroll is going to kill the deal unless we take back a bad contract from them like Okafor. No way I'm going to do that unless they throw in an unprotected 1st and I'm pretty sure they will not.

So would you do that if we got NOH's first pick as well. That would been we would sign DJ long term in the summer as our PG and we would probably have two top 5 picks in this stacked draft, I know Stern Loves Walker... I know people will shoot me for trading walker, but i am not saying i want to. But i think that deal would be at least worth thinking about, or am i just high?

i would do that as it is posted. you won't get the pick as well. then flip kaman maybe with dj for a high pick or multiple middle picks or kaman and tyrus for an expiring and youngin or draft pick
or you could a second trade of us taking trevor ariza (not sure if they want him or not) for dj white and najera plus getting one of their picks. so basically it is kaman, ariza, pick for kemba, boris, dj white, najera and we would have to probably add portlands 2013. that would net us 2 lottery picks for next year plus whatever we could get for kaman and dj. possibly 3 maybe even 4 first round picks next year.

To sing Kaman, first of all we have to get rid the wages of Ty Thomas or Diaw.
And I think that you propose so much for a free agent unrestricted like Kaman.
the ideal would send Diop no New Orleans, but I doubt taht they accept this trade.
What about this options??
http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMa...radeId=6wd78oz & NO second pick
or this
http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMa...radeId=88wdmaf & NO second pick
We get the center that we need and we get rid the excessive salary of Tyrus Thomas.
thoughts?

Thing is Kaman is a free agent this summer so he might just leave, i dont really want to give anyone up who we might need in the future, jsut to rent Kaman for half of a mini season. Also we are building for the future, Kaman doesnt help us with that. Only if we get their lotto pick would i be interested
