Default Is Tyrus On The Trading Block?

After his performances this year, I have no idea how or why anyone would be interested, but why else would he go from being the starter who Silas believes is in a rough stretch he has to play through, to dropping to almost a 15th man averaging about 3 minutes a game over the most recent games?

I would that he is not, just in the dog house. Unable to really tell, unless someone from FO or with some connections says different. I would say he would be playing to showcase him but the way he has been playing it is best to sit him and hopes someone buys our lemon.

I think Tyrus has whatever Julius Peppers caught when he had 2 sacks for an entire season - there's no explanation for the drop off except for some mystery disease that they won't disclose. They did say he's like 15 pounds lighter than last year.

I wouldn't think he's necessarily in the doghouse, because he has shown a lot of effort on the defensive side, relentlessly going after blocked shots, grabbing boards. But on the offensive side, he looks so disinterested for some reason, only wanting to take 18 foot jumpers and nothing else. I don't even recall him catching any alley oops this year, which was all he did when we first traded for him.

He's basically untradeable at this point - no team is going to touch that salary and be on the hook for the next 3 years. I still had hopes he could turn it around, but I don't think its going to happen here. He's the walking (or is that sitting) definition of an amnesty candidate, and it will be another sad instance of a Bobcats' asset turning into a puff of smoke.

I dont think we are able to trade him for salary per production is not worth it to anybody. I dont even think well use the amnesty clause on him next year, for there is no need too. Right now we are in gathering assets and once we have enough of the right pieces in place, which I feel is in 2 years, we can use use it than and become big players in FA.

Screw his attitude, but Andray Blatche and a 2nd from the Wizards sounds pretty damn good right now.

Is Tyrus on the trading block? I think that if they could they'd put him on the street corner with a "free to first sucker" sign.

At this point he is just a skinnier Diop. A player that is untradeable because of their horrible contract and lack of production.

I don't see how we will be able to move him.

If in 2 years we are in a position to win we can just amnesty him right?

if it is a sickness or illness, he should be able to come back. if it is chronic and he can't return to his former self, he should do us all a favor and just retire. But the way Silas is talking he just needs to work thru it, TT must be not really trying hard enough. Retire before we amnesty you down the road, please. But I do wish you the best.
