Tyrus just needs time to rehab from his injury. He lost weight. He lost his conditioning. Just give the man a break on this year. It is not like anything that happens this season matters anyway, so I could care less if he sucks now. He has shown flashes of his old abilities, and I think in due time he will be back at it.

no not really if I can drag it out. That's why I wonder where his head is at and the extent of this sickness and whether it is connected to his injury and lack of proper rehab.

Give him a break this year? Dude has gotten by on nothing but "potential" for 6 years now and has amounted to nothing more than an 8/5/1 player. Bismack is already better than he is

Bobcats' Thomas has no answers for struggles

    Good article by Sorenson.

I WANT to give Tyrus a break. I don't see him being a bad team mate (I did question him that time he and Smack were fighting over boards) and from this article it seems he's trying. He's never going to be what his potential says he could be...but if he could just get back to where he was the last couple of years at least he's not be a negative asset.

Just read it and it frustrates me even more. I don't understand what's going on that is making him look like a completely different player on the court. It looks as if there is no desire, no passion, and a loss of athleticism, yet, according to the article, he's the hardest worker on the team.

    It's mind boggling.

I'm starting to wonder if he's got a degenerative knee issue following the cartilage removal last year, kind of like how Brandon Roy ended up.

You can be the hardest worker, but if you suck, im sorry. You don't need to be playing in the NBA.

A differant envirment is what i guess. Heard romors of Charlie V. and Blatche. Neither good choices. Im sure Cho is looking for a little shorter contract'.

Tyrus is just going to become a 6th man kind of player. Is it possible to restructure his contract to where he gets 10-11 mil a year and on the final year he drops to 2 mil just like OKC did for Collison? This would allow us to stay above the cap floor as we pick up young talent on rookie contracts. By the time we are ready for start making those title runs, we will switch the payments from Tyrus to our core players.
