Is it a possibility we could get Pau Gasol? Do we have anything the Lakers might like? I would love to have Gasol in the middle with Bismack at the 4... with all the $$ we're going to dump after this season, can't we afford him? We always say we need to land a big name FA and build around it with the draft... Pau could be it.

For the price it would cost, it isn't worth it. He's too old to be useful by the time we're able to compete.

As a rebuilding team we want draft picks, not soft big men that although are skilled, not needed as we aren't challenging at all for a Ring yet.
So no. Only trades I would do is getting assets like draft picks.

Making threads and have intellectual debate/talk is great but you do know we are in a rebuilding mode right now. Going after a guy pass his prime for crazy money would kill our cap space preventing us from becoming a title contender in the process is not really interesting to a lot of us. We been thru the whole process of paying to much for guys to get us at best an 8 seed. Some of us see the bigger picture and we dont want to deviate from that path.

I'm a mod. Yes I may not have the best attitude right now because the Bobcats suck.
But don't ever think I would ever close a thread unless it was some stupid ass attempt to troll or whatnot.
I stated my reasons why I felt like closing it, because we sucked verses the Pacers.
