    Default Move to Seattle?

In some forums in Spain talking about the franchise move to Seattle.

Now that confirms that the Kings staying in Sacramento and it seems that the NO Hornets will have buyer soon...

our franchise is one of the more recent and less story ... and isn´t competitive.

in 7 years only played once in PO...

what is said in Charlotte or USA?

It is possible to move to Seattle?

    Hopefully not.

    Regards

hollinger talked about it in his chat today. he said there are no short term moves to get a team to seattle if NO does in fact have a buyer. he said charlotte seems to be the most likely long term team moving because we are "bleeding cash".

he is probably right except for the fact that we appropriately decided to tank it. if we can luck out a draft or two get it rolling with some marquee guys we will start making money and avoid a move. the next 2 or 3 drafts are absolutely critical to the teams future in charlotte.

    No. No. No.

arena lease agreements. and New Orleans can't even find an owner for god sakes, in way worse shape. Charlotte is safe.

Why would Jordan agree to take a struggling franchise to a city that already lost interest in a struggling franchise?

Isn't there steep penalties for moving Charlotte again? I read that even with Charlotte losing money that the penalties too move are much greater.

it is looking like NO will have a buyer. if that is the case, they would not be moved. he said long term. what is the arena lease agreement ie how many years?

Yeah the penalties come in if the team breaks the lease agreement with the arena from the city, I know it started with a 250 million penalty and it goes down a few million each year. No way Jordan takes us away from his home state. Plus we're doing better money and attendance wise in a horrible year, like they said it would be at least 5-6 years more of struggling just given the situation for me to be even remotely concerned.

Won't happen. Jordan wants to build a winner in his hometown.
Only other place I realistically see him moving this franchise to is Chicago where he dominated as a player.
Esp. with all the HR he's doing now with Cats Care etc.
You don't bother with that unless you're thinking long term.

0% chance for dozens of reasons. Pacers should be the ones looking to move. Our attendance destroys theres and they have a young, exciting, good team. In fact our attendance now is higher than theirs has been in over a decade. Indiana doesnt care about them anymore

stern doesnt want the only 2 minority owners in league history totally embarrass themselves, screw Charlotte over AGAIN etc etc. MJ gets all the low interest funds he needs from the league bank

worst thread i've ever seen on this site,

    1) our attendance is at the top of the bottom half even with the worst record
    2) MJ would never move a team out of the carolinas.
