Default Bobcats exploring trading their trade exception

    http://blogs.charlotte.com/inside_th...-in-handy.html

Looks like a Cho move and could gain a draft pick

Hmmm I'd be interested to see what we could possibly get.

not to continually knock on bonnell, but how is this surprising? of course we would entertain using a tpe to pick up a draft pick!

Personally I'd be surprised if we're able to parlay that into anything. There are a few teams with bigger exceptions and/or have much more cap space than us.

Never know though. I haven't checked lately, but I think the Hawks are slightly into the LT...which would make them a prime trade candidate. Right now they are slotted for the 21st pick.

Per the trade machine they're 1.4 million over. Something like Hinrich/2012 1st for DJ/Najera? Prorated that'd only cost us about 1 million bucks extra in salary.

I love that trade also. Atlanta is a team that I think has a decent chance of slowly slipping in the standings pushing their draft pick up into the teens. Would love to get it.

LA saying they can't take on any more salery to get Beasley. Im sure with this 3.5 milion we could help Beasley get to LA . Or get DJ to LA .
LA , Dallas, Portland, Atlanta , Orlando
More than likely would be the best options. Spectre you are our trade expert make something happen .

I really have no clue why DJ isn't in LAL already. They need him, so all I can figure is we're trying to get more than the 2 late 1sts and the TPE. The 6.6 give or take it'd cost the Lakers (they're over the cap so DJ's salary times 2) is NOTHING for them. Anytime they cry about paying the tax it's BS...remember they just signed this insane TV deal worth approx. 150 million per year over the next 20 years.

After watching tonights game DJ or Kemba one has to go . Kemba was so pissed setting the whole first quarter he wasn't worth a damn the rest of the game . Did you notice him staring Salis down in the third quarter. Its a riff about playing time and i don't think the two can coexist long term .
The Lalers should jump all over DJ for BLAKE and a first and if they want add a low priced filler.

    Thanks Ammofan!
