So, I completely missed this game ( had some family stuff that I had to do ). I get in and jump online to check the score and Deron Williams bent over the Bobcats to the tune of 57 points??!?!?
Someone please walk me through tonight's game. There has to be a story behind it.

Long story short....... We played our starters against Detroits bench during the last game of season 1, we won that meaningless game and tied the Hornets record, we lost a coin flip and picked 5th during the draft. We refused to trade picks 5 & 13 to move up in the draft...... We watch 2 potential Hall of Fame PG's get drafted 3rd and 4th... We choose Felton..... Many years later we still suck and one of the PGs we could have drafted smashed our 2 subsequent lottery PGs for 57 points.
#notbitterthough
I want wait to resign one of those lottery PG's for way more than he is worth. Tiny, shoot first, PG"s who can't shoot or guard anybody should make AT LEAST 7mil a year. At least that's what we keep getting told around here. Of course, since we keep drafting the same kind of player maybe that's what we value.
Williams was having one of those nights where it didn't matter who was guarding him. He was just fire. He had the refs help a few times, but he was making all kinds of crazy shots.
I don't remember the last professional game I saw where one guy distanced himself so far from everyone else in the game. Unbelievable.
Great game! Even with a nearly empty arena for the last 37 seconds.
SOMEONE will pay for THIS!
Agreed...pretty much everything he threw up there went in. He was a man amongst boys and rarely does that happen on the professional level. They tried Henderson on him and that made him work a little harder, but it really just prolonged the inevitable. I mean, the guy hit a fadeaway 28-footer to beat the shot clock (and then Byron had to compound it by fouling him) so he was just in a another world, not matter who was checking him.
Despite all that, the Bobcats were in it until the last seconds. It was really entertaining and a great effort by the 'Cats.
We were playing trash najera and garb mullins who were fouling guys on at the perimeter giving up 4 point plays. diaw was throwin up lobs like we were dwade and lebron, thomas was shooting shots out of his league, oh yeah and dwill dropped 57 had a career night, nobody on the team could guard him, our guards are too undersized
i missed the game too, clicked on the box score before the recap and literally laughed out loud. craziness.
