Default Bobcats, Diaw could be working on buyout

BORIS DIAW SET TO LEAVE CHARLOTTE BOBCATS, SAYS “J’AI UN CHOIX À FAIRE”
    FRANCE,LATEST NEWS,NBA

The headline pretty much says it all, with France-based L’Equipe and Catch & Shoot today pretty much assure that Team France captain Boris Diaw will make like the rat and leave the sinking ship known as the Charlotte Bobcats (4-31) within days.

The Bobcats appear willing to free Boris Diaw from his contract if they can reach an agreement on a buyout.

HoopsHype.com has it as the headline as of Tuesday morning, but it's source is a French website and I don't see the story. So I guess it's gotten bad enough that the front office is ready to cut it's losses and let him walk for nothing.

P.S.-Ignore the fact that there is a picture of Biyombo in the first article.

Sucks that we can get nothing for him, but if he leaves I say thanks for the memories and good luck in life. I hate when fans bash players after they leave....let it go. At least this guy has the class to know his heart is not in the game anymore and he should quit.

Sounds like Diaws people are leaking this to hurt the chances of the Bobcats getting anything in return. Who would trade for Diaw if they can pick him up for nothing if they think the Bobcats are going to cut him? It's pretty obvious that Diaw is trying to force this move by playing like crap and not even trying. I would either, shoot him in the head, or park him on the end of the bench for the rest of the season (assuming we can't sucker anybody into taking his fatass). I would absolutely not cave into his behavior unless we want the rest of the team taking notes for when they want to get out.

I will not ignore the picture of Biyombo in the first link. If the source doesn't care enough to get the freaking picture right, why should I pay attention to what they are reporting?

total bunk. someone would give up a second round pick for Boris Diaw. No way they let him walk for free. It just makes no sense.

Hey if he's willing to take do a buyout I think that would make him even more attractive to teams needing to dump salary.

Trade for him then buy him out at less than his contract = savings.

Agreeded hes worth much more being bought out . We could trade him with conditions of being bought out .
Saving another team no telling about 4.5 times two if they in tax hell. Thats about 9 mil in value .
That might be worth two first round picks to LA

There are some things that are more important than winning in basketball. Not having Gana Diop on you're team is one of them.
