    Default Eight hours to deadline

Up early and checking the wires, no deals around the NBA last night. Wonder if everyone are sleeping on their proposals. I'm just thinking whether we will make a move, since we have been the most wheeling and dealing team in the last few years and we brought Rich Cho in to work his magic.

given the early morning news that howard is reversing course again largely to protect image and will sign extension for next year, not to worry a move with NJ still seems possible:

The Nets are working on several alternative trade scenarios to improve the Nets and build around Deron Williams if Dwight Howard decides to opt-in for the 12-13 season with Orlando, according to sources.

The Nets have been hopeful of their ability to acquire Howard, but the team doesn't feel that they need him to keep Williams.

Howard expected to sign his eto waiver between 12-1. Looking for the wire to get flooded with trades from 1-3.
