The fact that he asked.."is it a name change" and she couldn't give a clear answer might mean something. I mean...if it was not a name change you would at least think she would say "um no, but I can't tell you what it is.."

It would be cool if it was a name change like the Carolina Cougars to go along with the rest of the Carolina teams (Carolina Panthers, Carolina Hurricanes). The name has a history with the area. Maybe not revolutionary history like the Hornets but basketball history with the ABA Carolina Cougars but Im not betting on any of this. Wouldnt really need to change much for we can still use the current image but change the name. She wouldnt say anything because she doesnt want to give out any hints on what the announcement could be or couldnt be. It will cause alot of speculation which will just lead to assumptions.

That's what I think, stop buying merch for the store as nobody in Charlotte will be able to afford it... why? Because Diaw isnt eating at the restraunts, which means that the restraunt owners go broke and fire their staff, which means their staff have no jobs. The entire Charlotte economy is going to come to a stop all because of Boris Diaw... MY GOD, it's all so clear now
