Just potential plus his good high school career. He is stuck behind Davis and Jones at Kentucky. But top 10 is a little surprising. Late lottery maybe
question to all draft guys.
why is mcadoo back in the top 10 lottery machine on espn. chad ford loves him.
i absolutely positively have not seen this at all in him. i have seen him play at the pro am live, i have watched him a few times on tv. nothing about him says to me top 10 pick or even lottery. his game is not good and he is a tweener for sure. what are your thoughts?

Go easy on me, I'm from England, and no... I Don't love the Queen.
Just off potential he belongs there. Look at the Amare want to be Drummond. He's crap but he's talked about in the top 3 all year long.
On Mocks, he is listed to go ahead of Barnes on many of them. But today, his father said that he is leaning towards returning to UNC for his Soph year. Said he will come home and discuss with mom and dad, but right now they expect him to be back at UNC for Soph year. I can respect that decision, but you know he has to be thinking of how Barnes turned all that money down last Draft and actually hurt his stock. Right now, McAdoo would be a Top 10 pick. That is walking away for a lot of money.
Think he should go back for another year, but from what I've heard he's a very nice prospect. Slowly growing into his frame, and has a good wingspan. Got a high BBIQ and good hands (but I could be wrong, but that's what I've heard -shrug-)

Yeah, but if the rules allowed, Barnes would've been the top pick coming out of high school. The way he was hyped coming out, he had nowhere to go but down. JMM had much less hype and played very little this season; he has nowhere to go but up if he comes back (barring injuries of course).

If he does return next year, it will give us someone to shoot for if we continue in tank mode
He is off the table for 2012. He is going back to UNC for his Soph season. I wish him well, and hope he has a better Soph year than Barnes had this past season.
Smart move by McAdoo. Time to close this one down, down, down!
