    Default Who's your top 4?

I know a lot of people want to start buying Anthony Davis jerseys, and after months of seeing his name beside the Bobcats logo in every mock draft, it almost seems like we're entitled to pick him. But even assuming that Davis comes out (and I think that's a no brainer), we only have a one in four chance of landing that top pick. So barring some late season surge that doesn't appear imminent, we could pick anywhere from one to four. With that in mind, who's your top four for the Bobcats?

    1. Anthony Davis (Though I don't necessarily see him as a "clear cut" number one like everyone else does.)
    2. Michael Kidd-Gilchrist (Love his game, passion and hard work with the talent to boot)
    3. Brad Beal (Yeah somewhat of a surprise but as stated in the title this is MY top 4, solely my opinion. I digress, can shoot and drive. Only wish he was a bit taller but what can you do?
    4. Thomas Robinson (The man is just a beast every time I watch him. That's my scouting report - Beast)

As a side note I am a fan of Harrison Barnes but he is so hot and cold it makes me waffle on him a lot.

I agree. I'm betting people put Barnes in the top 4 but I'm terrified of that guy. If you can't take over against Ohio, how good can you really be?

    With my limited knowledge.....

    1. Anthony Davis
    2. Trade the pick?
    3. Trade the pick?
    4. Trade the pick?

I have too many question marks about everyone else at this point.

    davis

    drummond

    beal

    trade

spaces indicate how far spaced i think they are. drummond may not have shown it in college, but the times i saw uconn, i never once saw them give him the ball on consecutive possessions on the block. college basketball offensively is absolutely horrid. my opinion is that if he develops to be even 1/2 as good as bynum he will be the 2nd or 3rd best player in the draft. look at deandre jordan or javale mcgee. at the very worst they will make excellent trade chips down the line.

1 Davis, for obvious reasons. I think his ceiling is D Howard.
2 Sullinger, I hate Ohio St, but this kid has skills. He can shoot, pass and he's got great size.
3 Kidd Gilchrest, young, but a ton of talent. Fits a huge need (sf) too.
4 Drummond, I think he could be an allstar center ala Hibbert.

Really tough to say after Davis. I don't think Sullinger is the second best player on the board, but paired with Bismack, I think that's a solid four/five combination. Sullinger providing the offensive touch and passing ability, Bismack providing the defensive power and athleticism.

Drummond has a lot of upside, but is a high risk high reward type of player. Two wildly overused cliches, but both describe Drummond well. If we didn't already have Bismack, I'd be more inclined to like Drummond.

Barnes hasn't shown "it". He should have, everyone expected him to, but it hasn't clicked like it should have yet. He's good, but he isn't the dominant scorer he should be. Same thing for Lamb.

Kidd-Gilchrist doesn't seem like a great fit to me. Not a great shooter, gets by a lot in college due to his athleticism. He scares me a bit. Same thing goes for Robinson.

    I'd probably go:

    1-Davis for obvious reasons.
2-Sullinger for the pairing with Bismack. They compliment each other well.

    Gets shaky after that.

3-I would lean towards Barnes here. Size, shot, just needs to learn to takeover.
4-Drummond-I don't love him now, but you can't teach size. He's tall, strong, and raw. He could develop into Bynum, or he could level out like Deandre Jordan. A Jordan type player wouldn't be the worst thing in the world, we just can't give him the kind of deal Jordan got once his rookie contract is up.

Again, don't really love anyone but Davis, but it's certainly not the worst draft ever.
