Pop Media hating on the Bobcats

There seemms to be an upsurge in the amount of people that hate on the Bobcats for no good reason. The thing is it's just the casual fans that do it and bandwagon LA//NY fans aswell. Most sportwriters understand what the Bobcats are doing but others just can't think of anything to say so they put down the Cats to make themselves look good.
Is it just me or is it really annoying others.

I don't think people get that the present and future players make the franchise good not the other flops who aren't even on the books anymore

Its almost a daily problem for me. Some idiot Facebook friend who thinks they are funny, goes the lowest hanging fruit and picks on it. I had a guy post "man they should just contract the Bobcats, but don't worry theres still plenty of room for Celtics fans". This guy lives in Charlotte. It makes me want to fly into an internet rage ... but alas its not a good idea. In reality you just have to remind yourself that true fans are fans through anything... including a near decade of losing. And poseur douche bags switch to whatever the crowd says is cool. And people do notice.

Its easy to cheer for the Celtics, Lakers and whoever is hot at the moment. Its like cheering for gravity. All we can do these days is take pride in the fact that we took the road less travelled. Our integrity remains intact, even if the win column is in ruins. When it comes, and IT WILL come, the sweet taste of victory will be worth so much more to us. They may take our lives, but they will never take...our freedom!!!!

Between the Larry Bird era and the KG trade, their were no Celtic fans: only Paul Pierce and Antonie Walker fans. Danny Ainge pulled off one good summer but he is an idiot and the Celtics fans will disappear again very soon. They will probably all flock to the Heat and Thunder.

I have to admit the Anthony Davis picture made me chuckle. Don't we see stuff like this all the time?? The New York Jets a few years back when they were going through more QB's then the Miami Hurricanes went through strippers.... OHHH. (sorry for any Miami fans, couldn't help it). The casual fan will always pick on the lowest team because its easy, they are the losers right now. Its worse in our case because Jordan is the owner and everyone wants to see him fail (regardless of what people say.) Its annoying as hell, granted. We all hate seeing the ill-informed national media articles and all the stupid Celtics, Heat and Thunder "fans" (I bet all of the Thunder fans couldn't point out Oklahoma on a map 3 years ago). I hate to say "suffer through it" but thats the only option we really have right now.

Just have to deal with it. When you're the worst team... you either get with turning it around or else. Some of us have been pointing to this coming for a few years.

The good news is none of it will matter if we get good. We are showing some effort to attempt to right the ship but we're gonna need some luck too at this point.

People will say whatever they will say, and unless they are a professional covering the sport that should know better, I wouldn't really let it bother me too much. I'd only be really concerned if the front office truly thought this team was one that could get in the playoffs and make some noise.

1) Are you surprised, we were still seen as joke in the play offs and now we just suck
2) I would make fun of us if I were them, in fact I do make fun of them and I am a fan haha
