We need to be focusing on the top4.
The Bobcats are also MORE likely to get him than any other team.

25% is higher than any other team.

If he busts I guess they will blame MJ for being a lousy drafter. That's what they did with Kwame, who was widely considered the number one pick prior to that draft. Now everybody acts like MJ pulled drafting him out of his ass and everybody else was in disagreement. Funny how revisionist history happens.

This! If you take the highest rated guy that almost everyone agrees is thee clear cut #1 player and they turn into a bust, it's no one's fault that you drafted said player. Davis may end up a bust (not my personal opinion), but as of draft day it is Anthony Davis and then about 6 or 7 players that are on the next level of talent. Not taking Davis at #1 is silly based on the eligible draft pool that you would be selecting from.

    Completely irrelevant.

To us, it doesn't matter which team gets Davis if it's not the Bobcats. The only stat that matters is that the Cats are 3 times as likely NOT to get Davis than they are to get him.

You need to quit with this positivity shit Swedd. The Bobcats suck and will always suck and getting the number one draft pick even with the best odds of anyone IS IMPOSSIBLE. 25% might as well be 0% am I right?

Thats the only stat that matters if you're a complete defeatist sure. How is having the highest odds of winning possible... not relevant?

Then he'll just fall in line with all of our other 1st round picks except for maybe Kemba and BB.

Not irrelevant at all. Of course "the field" has a better chance of getting the first than any ONE team. The field has a 75% chance of beating the Bobcats, but by that same token, the field has an even greater chance of beign any other team.

But if you had to put your money on ONE team, who would that be? The Bobcats.

The reality is that we'll be bad until we get some good players through the draft. If Davis or whoever we pick doesn't pan out, we'll likely have another high lottery pick next year. We've chosen this road, and now we have to travel it.
    SOMEONE will pay for THIS!
