10 Day Contracts

After seeing the "other" Singleton and Cartier Martin light us up last night, why the hell haven't we brought it ANYONE on a 10 day contract? If any team should be looking at players for a diamond in the rough it's us. Are we that damn cheap that we can't even afford to do this?

Who do you guys think would be worth a 10 day contract?

kind of aggravated cuz we had Cartier Martin here and few yrs ago and still plays decent at times. not saying we should have held on to him though

Martin said last night he's added a lot to his game since then, and it looked like he lost at least 20 pounds from when he was here. He could always shoot though, I definitely remember that about him.

Hindsight is 20/20 but I wish they had given Gerald Green a look.

I can understand the thought, but I don't think there's any reason to sign any 10-day guys to this team. Especially not with three weeks left in the season. Not that there can't be a diamond in the rough, but most of the time the 10-day players usually end up being the 10th-15th man on the squad. I'm betting that they believe they can fill spots in the roster with guys like that at a later date.

If we were fighting for the 8th seed in the Playoffs, sure. But we stink and are looking at being the worst team and with the best odds of getting the #1 pick. So why try to gring in someone on a 10 day Contract and spend MJ's money? Just stink up the next few weeks and be done with this dismal season. And pray we get the #1 pick.

Yeah I kind of agree with the majority sentiment. Lord knows we have the role players thing locked down; right now we need the upper tier of talent.

I genuinely think 2 or 3 of our roster would never ever get a 10 day contract. Maybe its 10 day contracts or summer league due to finances lol
