hopefully they didn't let him give out scholarships also. the 5 tallest kids at the school will get a full 4 year scholarship.
What the hell is Larry doing?
Bobcats Redemption?
my condolences to SMU.
Guess he's not that great of a coach after all

I wonder if that Hanners guy that used to be LB's assistant will be at SMU too.
Geez, if he had problems playing young guys in the league, what's he going to do with a bunch of guys younger than the ones he had little time for the NBA?
Truthfully I think it would be good for SMU and college basketball to have Larry Brown back. I always felt that the NBA game had changed too much in regards to the play and control Larry was kept from for Larry to succeed at the highest level. I think it would be good for Larry Brown to have young players he can coach up and who are willing to learn. Larry can recruit his kind of players and does not need to work with what NBA GM's insist he take. Larry did not play young players in the NBA because he did not have the luxury of doing so. In order to win he needed the older guys with some known skill sets to play more minutes. Many of the young NBA players Larry had were not players he chose. In college he can get his kind of players and he can mold them. I believe at a school like SMU with no tradition to speak of he can build what he wants. They will not put unrealistic expectations on Larry.
