Default The Witcher 2 on the 360....AMAZING!

I've been anticipating this game since the first one came out for the PC a couple years back and there was talk that they'd port it to the 360. That didn't happen, but it did with the sequel, and usually when I have as much anticipation for a game as I did for this one I wind up disappointed to some extent....so far this one has surpassed my lofty expectations.

Talk about being drawn into a world: I spent 5 hours playing the prologue, going to the menus, reading updated bios on the characters and storylines, soaking up the incredible visuals. The combat is so fucking challening yet rewarding as it DEMANDS the use of sword, alchemy and magic...but they all work together so well. It takes a while to get the hang of it (and hell, I just scratched the surface having only played the prologue) but with practice it's amazing how intuitive it becomes.

Also, I have never played a more adult game in my life, and I'm talking beyond the violence, language and full nudity present in the game; the political machinations, the overall political climate, the difficult choices you have to make, the relationships you build....the complexity of it all is just amazing.

I can't give this game any higher of a recommendation than it's a must. I can't guarantee all Skyrim folk will enjoy this one as much, as this is much more immersive and challening and less-suited to the casual gamer as Skyrim is but if you've ever played but if you're a fan of RPGs, it is an absolute must have, guys.

Here's the opening cinematic that begins the game to mesmerize y'all's eyes:

Definitely high on the list, especially with your review.
    SOMEONE will pay for THIS!

Finished it up this past weekend. Wow. What a game. Anyone who likes mature dark fantasy and video games is doing themselves a disservice by not getting this. dnb and ziggy get a pass because they have youngins, and this is definitely not a game you want to be playing with youngins around, but the rest of y'all with a 360 need to give this a go.
