Default OK... what do we do if...

What do we do if the draft lottery comes around on May 30th and we do NOT get the #1 pick? I know personally I will think the NBA is rigged and curse at the TV until draft day, when I'll be extremely optimistic about whoever we end up picking.

I don't know, guys... I have a feeling we're not going to get the #1 pick. Hate to be doom and gloom, but "lucky" is not something we have been.

    Thoughts?

It doesn't have to be rigged. Even with the most ping pong balls we still only have a 25% chance.
I'm not sure what we do but I hope that's a question that they're asking every prospective coach. I know it's a consensus decision but I thin the answer would say a lot about the coach.

Hope that whoever we do get will be the sleeper star that everyone misses out on.

And keep going with the plan.

Considering our eternal optimism, I know we've already had this topic at least once lol....

I think Thomas Robinson, MKG and Beal are gonna be damn good. So I'm happy regardless. But I'll be upset if we end up with #4...I don't wanna get the worst we can get.

As sure as scouting is, they still miss a lot.

Remember when Sam Bowie was a sure thing and MJ wasn't? Remember when Oden was gonna be the next Ewing? Remember when Joe Smith was the best player in '95 but Garnett went after?

Well, pray MKG or Beal or Drummond (God forbid) are the next versions of that.
