I'm gonna head over to the arena tonight to watch. I am getting nervous for sure but trying to remain optimistic.

Im not expecting the first pick and Anthony Davis. Not that I think the league will cheat us, but history shows a 25% chance of the first pick is not a guarantee at all.
Saying that, Id be very happy with MKG, Brad Beal, Harrison Barnes, Andre Drummond, Jared Sullinger, Thomas Robinson. We are going to be getting a good player no matter what. Id love to get Anthony Davis, but this draft is going to produce some very good NBA players IMO.
I think expectations are high right now (mainly due to such a terrible season) and we need AD to generate excitement. Anything less than the #1 pick tonight will be a disappointment.
That said, I don't think it will be a total disaster if we don't get him. We drafted a good shot blocking/rebounding PF last year that we are still grooming so we could draft a position player we actually need and build around that. Yes, Davis will be effective starting opening night, has this tremendous upside and everyone wants him but there is always the chance (dare I say it) there is someone in this pool of talent that will be just as dynamic a player or even BETTER.

I will be there. I'll bring the tissue box.

i don't get espn at my house but ESPN3 (where it will be showing) still streams many times on my computer for no reason and if you go somewhere random that has wireless like a public library or mcdonalds, there's a pretty good chance ESPN3 will work there too. if not, just google first row sports and click the basketball tab, i wouldn't be surprised to see it on there tonight.
good luck with your job hunt, being unemployed takes a huge mental toll, keep your head up.
