look at it from a different way, at least now we will have a higher draft pick next year.
The Bobcats get the #2 Overall Pick, therefore, they will get a solid player but not a Franchise Changing player like Anthony Davis. Does that mean that the Bobcats need to change their building through the draft strategy? With a lottery you cannot depend on building through the draft...

Just because we didn't get the #1 pick doesn't mean the strategy isn't working. Not every franchise player is drafted #1. There's nothing wrong with picking #2. Patience, and a strong dose of it, is all that's needed.
Beyond that, we definitely dont change strategy. Going in to this year everyone knew we didnt have a good chance of getting davis. This was already accounted for.
The lottery just sucks because say Shabazz Muhammad is the clear superstar in next years draft and the Bobcats have the worst record again....we only have a 25% chance to get him...

Here's what I don't like about this... I think if an organization is willing to tank a whole season, they deserve the # 1 pick.
Who says Thomas Robinson won't be a franchise changer?
