It's not even a conspiracy at this point, its a comedy. A conspiracy requires lack of evidence.

This is old news, I had a feeling the #1 pick would be part of the deal when the team was sold... By the NBA.

Especially when Stern is quoted as saying the Hornets are only 1 player away after the CP3 trade.

I wasn't able to post last night because we're still in the middle of moving into our new home... It's probably best I didn't post, as it would've been extremely emo and almost unintelligible. I'm still bordering on that posting style today. Outside of disappointing situations from my personal life over the years that everyone experiences, this is the single biggest depressing thing I've experienced.

No doubt, this is the worst thing I've ever been through as a fan. I'm at a loss right now.

Hey Diddy, as a fellow Bobcats sufferer, I feel it is my duty to walk you off the ledge, and move back at least a couple feet. I know Davis was the consensus #1 pick, and I'm still pissed we missed out on him. But there are a couple things to consider to maybe add perspective to this.

First, it was a little over a year ago where, as any Panther fans know, we had this exact same feeling. When Andrew Luck came out and said he was going back to school after we landed the top pick, there was a sickening, sinking feeling, and i might've broken a few things. I thought we were forever cursed and would never get over the hump. And with Cam, most people were unsure of him, and had him rated down as the 15th pick or so.

Obviously, it worked out way better than it would have if we had gotten the consensus #1 prospect from last year instead. Now I'm not sure if there is someone in this draft like Cam, but how can we be so sure? Who knew Westbrook at 4 or Harden at 3 were multiyear all star talents? If we trust Cho's evaluation talents that he's proven, I'm almost certain we're going to draft an all star in this draft.

While Davis is the most intriguing player because of his unlimited potential, he's not guaranteed to get there. The similarities and feelings between this lottery and the panthers situation last year are so close, so I would keep you from jumping just yet. Now if we draft another bust in the top of the lottery again, I might walk you back to he ledge and jump off with you.

Good points, I just hope we find our Cam/Durant. Everyone is down on the other guys but I want us to put together a great draft and shock the world next season. Piss on all the critics and fair weather fans. If it does not happen for us soon, i'll be joining ya'll on the jump
