Going after Dwight Howard is my guess. From ATL, they have the cap room now, will come to that point I bet.
I will be surprised if Dallas has the assets to get Howard. ATL has this capspace, when Howard will be FA next year.
from http://sports.yahoo.com/news/nba--ne...5moN0oIdq8vLYFThe deal for Johnson eliminates the Nets from pursuing a deal with Orlando for All-Star center Dwight Howard in the short-term, but could open the possibility of Atlanta making a bid to bring Howard back to his boyhood home. The Hawks could have $25 million in salary-cap space next summer, and have attractive young talent, including Al Horford and Jeff Teague, to offer Orlando.
Feeling a wee bit wiser now
Even though they can't get Howard,
Williams/Johnson/Wallace/Humphries/Lopez and Brooks off the bench
That's a damn good squad.
CHANGE IS SWARMING.
CHARLOTTE IS BUZZING.
Remember Anthony Randolph from the draft a few years ago? PF with lots of potential but needed work. He went in the lottery. Unrestricted FA from Minny right now. Wonder if we take him cheap and see if he can start to reach his potential? Might be worth a shot if the price is right. It did wonders for Mullens getting him into Charlotte and giving him some PT. Maybe the same can be done for Randolph?
