I think the Nets would happily give us Farmar just for clearing the space for them. Maybe have to toss them a future 2nd, but probably like the one we sent Pop for the Ratliff trade. I'd much rather do that then hand DJ 7+ a year.
Completely disagree. There is no evidence that DJ makes the Bobcats better than Kemba. We won 7 games last year and if anything Kemba was arguably the better point guard in at least 6 of those games. DJ has been here four years and has never significantly or consistently made others around him better. There are several free agent point guards available that can do what dj does for cheaper.

Hope Resurrected: "I think I can bring an attitude to a team as far as, ‘All right, no matter what, we are not losing this game'." - Kemba Walker
"Its okay to be bad; just so long as you're bad ass." - Keetch
in my opinion Kemba is a franchise player and when he started last season he showed glimples of what he can do.

I'm still weary of starting Kemba...I've made it known that while I root for him, I wasn't that excited about this pick or his rookie season. I'd love to have a true PG leading this team...I think Kemba would be a great spark off the bench, but I've never thought he could be a true starting NBA point guard...he'll start, but I don't think he's worthy of it. Hopefully he proves me wrong and improves in passing, significantly

While I'm not as flat on the guy, I'm not as strong as most either. Having said that, there's aren't that many true point guards these days. I'll be more than happy if Kemba can just be a ball-busting dynamo who can be the engine for the team (even if it's a jerky V-6) with scoring, energy, and adequate play making. He doesn't have to be a classic distributor as long as we have other playmakers and he provides mismatches in other ways.
That being said, I like him a LOT better as a Bobby Jackson, big-minute 6th man than as a starting point guard. BJax was lethal for years for Sacramento and played a lot of big minutes. Kemba seems to be perfect for that role as long as he had a quality pg in front of him that kept him from being frustrated about not starting. Kemba is definitely capable of MUCH better numbers than Bobby Jackson too.
SOMEONE will pay for THIS!
You mean Kemba didn't lead the league in assist in his first year in the NBA in a shortened season, on a terrible team, without training camp or offseason? I think its too early to write him off as not a "true pg" (even though I don't think a "true pg" is even necessary in the NBA) I am plenty happy with his ability to pass. He showed some promise if you ask me. I saw him make some decent hard to find passes this year. The ability is there, the system wasn't.
