MJ story from Monday (Hornets content...kinda)

Thought I'd share this on here...

My co-worker went to his little sisters high school graduation on Monday (Myers Park maybe?) and when the valedictorian went up to speak he mentioned that among the graduates was Michael Jordan's niece. He said MJ was in the audience and asked him to stand up and be seen. Jordan just kinda waved from his seat in the back and apparently this prompted huge cheers from everyone there... followed by a really loud and minute or so long "HORNETS" chant. My buddy said MJ just sat back and kinda laughed.

That wasn't Myers Park haha. I actually graduated from MP on Monday at TWCA and have a MJ story myself. We(graduates) had to go in the players entrance when we arrived while everyone else went in the other entrances. Right before I arrived, according to everyone, MJ had just left in his Ferrari. Pretty cool...not many graduations feature MJ leaving the arena in his Ferrari haha
