    Default Jeff Green is available

Green is healthy and a UFA

Jeff Green's agent, David Falk, told SI.com's Sam Amick that his client is "100 percent" recovered from the surgically repaired heart condition that forced him to miss the 2011-12 campaign.

Because the Boston Celtics, who acquired Green from the Oklahoma City Thunder for Kendrick Perkins, withdrew their $9 million qualifying offer for Green in December, he is now an unrestricted free agent.

"Because of (Green's) age ... and because he can play two positions and he's freaky athletic, I think he could be very sought after," Falk said.

To that point, Falk said he's had exploratory talks with "12 to 14 teams." Both Green and the C's are open to re-signing him, but it would have to come at the right price. Considering Falk's history as an agent and the fact that Green should be one of the top UFAs on the market, that price may be too steep for the Celtics.

The team that lands him likely will view him as a starter and key part of their franchise going forward. Keep in mind that the former No. 5 overall pick averaged at least 15.1 ppg in each of his final three seasons with the Thunder. He'll be 26 years old when next season begins.

Do you think that he is a possibility for us. I think depending on the price tag, I would like to get him.

With Falk being Jordan's agent, maybe we would have a shot.

I'm not looking to overpay anyone but if he checked out medically, I would welcome Jeff Green.

Not sure of the chances though...

I'd love to land him if he really is 100%.

    Kemba/Henderson/Green/Robinson/Bismack

That's a nice, young starting lineup.

I was thinking plus he was drafted when Cho was in OKC, so maybe that can help in some way also.

Only if we get him at good value. The last thing we need to do is invest in a guy that ISN'T 100% and then stuck with a big contract that isn't doing much for us.

At this point, I want our free agent signings to be relatively low risk affairs.
    SOMEONE will pay for THIS!

no thanks. he isn't that good and will be way to expensive for his limited offensive game.
