He said in his interview that he'll only make suggestions if he's asked, adding that professional scouts know a lot more about these guys than coaches that only see the players once a year. When he was hired, the FO and him were on the same page in terms of what kind of team they wanted to construct. My guess is that he'll offer insights from those workouts, but the FO will make the final decision.

Coach Mike Dunlap said his priority regarding #Bobcats roster is more and better 3-point shooting

Could be. It could also be working with Kemba, Henderson, Carroll, etc. on being better shooters and attempting more threes. As I mentioned in one of the draft threads, I'm guessing we go after a few short term players to round out the roster; one of them will likely be a 3 point specialist, hopefully younger and more athletic than Carroll.

Reggie is in the last year of his 2-year deal and he was shopped at the deadline last year. Wouldn't be surprised if he's gone to a contender around the deadline this year. Even with that, we need more than one 3-point guy, especially if Kemba is going to be our PG. A 3 point threat helps space the floor for post offense, as well as penetration. Think JJ Barea with Dallas - no way he penetrates the way he does at his size without shooters on the arc ready for the kickout.
