To all the Dunlap people that are supporting this decision and calling people that don't stupid.

If you could pick between Jerry Sloan and Mike Dunlap to teach and coach your players, who do you take? This is the move made out of trying to find the best "cheap" coach, not the best coach.

This is a gamble. It may work and he may be a great coach but, you can't actually believe he is the best available coach in the world.

I would bet my house that he will be one of the lowest paid coaches in the league.

I highly doubt this was about money.

MJ never would've considered Dunlap before Cho came in, so I'm 99.9% sure this was a Cho recommendation and MJ agreed. Sloan was never a Cho-type guy and he's the one calling the shots. Having a HC that works well with the GM is a MUST. Just see LB and Higgins if you disagree.

I don't know if Dunlap will work out or not, but reading what I have and knowing George Karl is on board makes me feel a lot better.

I wouldn't want Sloan because he wouldn't stay for more than 2 years.

Not someone who I've really paid attention to, but seems to have potential. I wouldn't have hired him, but I don't get paid to make these decisions. I do believe that those that do are smart enough to know they're on a pretty short leash with the fans, so I don't think this hire is just about saving some coin on a coach. They must have some sort of faith in him.
